Memida and n8n | New Integration Possibilities
We are pleased to introduce a powerful new way to integrate Memida even deeper and more easily into your existing system landscape. The official Memida Community Node for n8n is now available.
This gives you a tool to seamlessly connect your test equipment management with hundreds of other applications, even without complex programming.
What is n8n?
n8n is an extremely flexible tool for workflow automation. It allows you to visually connect different services and APIs. A "Workflow" consists of various "Nodes" that exchange data and perform actions.
The Memida Community Node
We have developed a dedicated node for n8n that drastically simplifies access to the Memida API. Instead of having to configure manual HTTP requests, you can now directly select actions like "Create Apparatus", "Get Inspection Report", or "Update Master Data".
You can find the package directly on npm: n8n-nodes-memida on npm
Benefits for your Workflow
Integrating with n8n opens up numerous new use cases for your test equipment management:
- Synchronization: Keep your master data (e.g., cost centers, departments) automatically synchronized with your ERP system.
- Notifications: Automatically send a message to Microsoft Teams or Slack when a piece of test equipment fails an inspection or a calibration date is overdue.
- Reporting: Automatically export inspection data to Google Sheets or Excel for individual evaluations.
- Onboarding: Automatically create new test equipment in Memida as soon as it is recorded in your procurement system.
Installation
Installing the node in your n8n instance is straightforward:
- Open your n8n settings.
- Go to the Community Nodes section.
- Install the package
n8n-nodes-memida.
After installation, the Memida node is available in your workflows. You only need an API token from your Memida profile to establish the connection.
We are excited to see what creative workflows you will build with Memida and n8n! As always, we are happy to assist you with any questions or feedback regarding the integration.
