Inspection kits, measurement stations, and other related equipment can now be represented in Memida as a Group / set. This keeps it clear in the inspection equipment list which items are used together without merging their individual inspection equipment files.

A group is a structural container, not an additional physical piece of inspection equipment. Its members retain their own master data, inspection intervals, inspection reports, and inspection instructions. The group automatically inherits the most critical status from its active members.

The dashboard now brings together open notices, required actions, and unread changes to inspection equipment in the shared Notices & activity card. This puts the most important next steps directly beside the charts, without requiring you to switch between individual notices and lists.

Company and cost center filters also apply to this work list. This ensures that metrics, charts, notices, and changes always refer to the same accessible data scope.

Many changes to inspection equipment are small but frequent in daily work: correcting a serial number, changing a cost center, adding a location, or maintaining an additional field. For these cases, the full inspection equipment file no longer has to be opened every time. The inspection equipment list can edit selected fields directly.

Double-clicking an editable cell opens the matching editor in place. The change is saved and the list stays in the working context.

The new inspection equipment import turns a spreadsheet into a controlled workflow. Memida reads CSV, Excel, and OpenDocument files, recognizes matching columns, checks each row, and shows before saving which data can be imported, corrected, or intentionally skipped.

This makes the import useful not only for initial data migration, but also for regular updates. Existing inspection equipment can be updated via its Memida ID, while new inspection equipment is created from rows that do not yet refer to the existing inventory.

With the new calendar, Memida gets an operational month view for due inspection equipment. Due dates are no longer visible only as a list or metric, but as a concrete distribution of appointments: you can see on which days work will occur, where inspection equipment clusters, and which items are affected on a specific day.

The calendar complements the existing inspection equipment list, dashboard, and reporting. The inspection equipment list remains the place for details and editing, the dashboard shows the current status, reporting evaluates periods, and the calendar supports concrete monthly planning.

With the new reporting page, Memida now has a dedicated view for operational metrics around inspection equipment, due dates, and evidence. While the dashboard shows the current daily status, reporting evaluates a selected period: How well did the selected period perform, and where is action needed?

The view combines due dates, escalations, documentation quality, and calibration backlog without mixing these values. This makes it a compact working basis for quality management, audit preparation, and calibration planning.

With the new permissions update, we are moving access control in Memida to a central permission system. Instead of unlocking functions only through broad roles such as admin, user, or viewer, permissions can now be assigned much more precisely per user and per function.

In the world of APIs, standing still is not an option. With this update, we significantly expand the functionality of the Memida API: the introduction of webhooks enables real-time notifications, while the new test plan endpoints allow for more precise management and integration of test plans. Additionally, the extended API token info provides more context and security for your applications. This update is another step toward making your processes more efficient and secure.

Inspection equipment data is business-critical. It flows into audit documentation, quality records, and compliance processes. That's why it's essential that this data doesn't remain trapped in a closed system. With today's update, we're introducing complete data export in Memida, through three independent methods that cover different requirements.

Today's update brings two important improvements: Two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account protection and a much faster inspection equipment search via barcode scanner. Additionally, various translations have been updated.
