Keep Notices and Changes in View
The dashboard now brings together open notices, required actions, and unread changes to inspection equipment in the shared Notices & activity card. This puts the most important next steps directly beside the charts, without requiring you to switch between individual notices and lists.
Company and cost center filters also apply to this work list. This ensures that metrics, charts, notices, and changes always refer to the same accessible data scope.
Notices and Activity in One Place
The card groups open entries by their purpose:
- Cost centers highlights cost centers where no notification is configured for monitored inspection equipment.
- Action required shows inspection equipment awaiting a technical review or decision.
- Changes lists inspection equipment changed by another user or via the API since it was last viewed.
Categories without open entries and their counters are hidden. If no inspection equipment has been created yet, the list instead displays Add your first piece of test equipment as a starting point.
Clicking a cost center notice opens the corresponding cost center. A row under Action required or Changes opens the respective inspection equipment. For changes, the separate history icon opens only the history dialog without also navigating to the inspection equipment details.
Review Changes and Mark Them as Viewed
In the history dialog, use ← and → to move through all inspection equipment with unread changes in the current dashboard list. Opening the history marks the change for that inspection equipment as viewed. With Mark changes as viewed, you confirm all unread changes within the currently selected company and cost center scope.
Select Change Notifications Individually
You can now decide which changes are displayed as notifications. Open User profile > Settings > Notifications > Change notifications and select the history events you want to follow. The events are grouped into areas such as Equipment, Comments, Locations, Inspection reports, Test plans, and Groups. You can select individual events, entire groups, or all events.
Only selected events create a change notification. The selection is user-specific and controls the entries shown under Changes in the Notices & activity card.
Control History and Names Separately
The new The fallback content to display on prerendering separate access to the history from the display of personal names:
- Apparatus history – description View apparatus history – allows access to the history dialog. This permission requires View apparatus and remains part of the default permissions for Admin, User, and Viewer.
- Personal history – description Apparatus history with names – displays available names on the dashboard, in the history, and in information about the most recent edit. This permission requires Apparatus history and is enabled by default for Admins only.
You can find more information about the affected areas in the manual.
