Memida - Software News

Sign and verify locally

Whether a PDF or a digital calibration certificate in DCC format, Memida Signing applies a company seal to your files directly on your computer. The free desktop app also processes documents from other systems. It saves sealed copies and leaves the originals unchanged.

Local sealing requires a valid, supported company certificate, but no Memida account. The app also helps recipients: existing seals can be verified without a certificate of your own. The documents are not uploaded in the process.

From measured values to a calibration certificate

From a series of measurements to the finished document, many details need to come together: measurement requirements, reference devices, actual values, and their evaluation. Memida now combines them in a guided certificate creation workflow directly on the inspection equipment. The result is a digital calibration certificate (DCC) with machine-readable XML and a readable PDF representation.

The feature supports documenting a calibration that has actually been performed. Measurement and technical responsibility for the procedure and measurement uncertainty remain with the laboratory performing the calibration.

Import calibration certificates

When several calibration certificates arrive from the lab, the work often starts with transferring details and finding the corresponding inspection equipment. The new import under Inspection reports → Import brings these tasks together: Memida reads PDF and DCC files, suggests matches, and prepares the inspection reports for review.

This lets you process larger batches of documents together while retaining responsibility for the technical decision on each result.
