UUID
A UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a 128-bit identifier that uniquely identifies a data record worldwide. UUIDs are represented as 32 hexadecimal characters, grouped by hyphens:

In memida, every inspection equipment, every inspection, every calibration certificate and every file receives its own UUID. These UUIDs serve as stable references in the REST API and in data exports to uniquely address and link records to each other – independent of the inspection equipment number.
