Calibration Certificate

A calibration certificate is a formal document that confirms the results of a calibration. It is issued by the performing calibration laboratory and serves as proof that an inspection equipment has been tested against traceable reference standards.

A calibration certificate typically contains:

  • Identification of the calibrated device (manufacturer, type, serial number, inspection equipment number)
  • Measurement results with determined deviations and measurement uncertainties
  • Reference standards against which the calibration was performed
  • Environmental conditions during calibration (temperature, humidity)
  • Date of calibration and validity period
  • Accreditation of the laboratory (e.g. DAkkS, SCS)

In memida, calibration certificates are attached as documents to inspections and are available for download via data exports and the REST API.
