DCC

A DCC (Digital Calibration Certificate) is a digital calibration certificate in the structured XML format defined by PTB. Its data can be read by machines; the DCC schema describes the file structure. A PDF representation may also be available for viewing or printing. PTB explains the content and objectives of the DCC.

For accredited calibrations, the issuing body can seal a DCC as an eAttestation using its digital accreditation symbol approved for that purpose. The seal allows the origin and integrity of the signed data to be verified.

In Memida, you can create DCC calibration certificates in version 3.3.0 and seal them with Memida Signing. The app also processes DCC files of this version when sealing local files. You can import existing DCCs as calibration certificates in versions 3.2.1 and 3.3.0. The handbook page Digital calibration certificate (DCC) according to PTB describes creation, sealing, and import.
