Memida App

With the Memida App, you can open an inspection equipment record at the point of use by scanning a DataMatrix code or searching. Check its status and due date, read supporting documents, and add photos or comments.

The app accesses the same data and authorized scope as the web application. Inspection equipment, master data, users and configurations are managed in the web application.

Install the app and sign in​

The Memida App is available for iPhone and Android smartphones:

You need an existing Memida user account. User accounts and permissions are managed in the web application.

  1. Install and open the app.
  2. Sign in with your Memida username and password.
  3. If two-factor authentication is configured, enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app and tap Verify.

Forgot password opens password recovery in the web application. You need an internet connection to sign in to the app, synchronize data and save additions.

Offline use lets you search for inspection equipment, scan codes, view inspection equipment records and open downloaded files without a connection. Once enabled, the app automatically updates the data regularly while connected, both during use and in the background.

Find your way around the app​

The icons at the bottom of the screen lead to three areas:

  • Home – Dashboard: view due dates and key figures.
  • Camera – Scan: open an item of inspection equipment using its Memida DataMatrix code.
  • Tool – Inspection equipment: search the inspection equipment list.

Tap the profile picture in the dashboard header to open Settings. There, you can manage offline use and sign out with Sign out. Under Appearance, choose System, Light or Dark.

Some areas may be hidden if they are not enabled for your user account. The app does not extend the access configured in Memida. Available content and actions depend on your permissions, your organizational data scope, the Subscription and the existing inspection equipment data. You can find your personal permissions in your user profile.

Tasks for the web application​

With the appropriate permission, you can add photos and comments directly in the app. Continue to use the web application for these tasks:

  • Create, edit, import or archive inspection equipment
  • Maintain master data, additional fields and locations
  • Create or edit inspection reports and inspection instructions
  • Edit, delete or pin comments
  • Design and generate labels
  • Manage users, permissions and the Subscription
