Inspection report

An inspection report documents an inspection of an individual item of inspection equipment. In Memida, it includes the inspection report type, use decision, inspection date, additional details, and any associated files.

The use decision describes whether the equipment can be used for its intended purpose and which restrictions apply. It remains separate from a calibration laboratory’s statement of conformity and the evaluations of individual measurement points.

The inspection report type identifies the kind of inspection. A calibration certificate documents the results of a calibration. If it is a DCC, the XML file contains the structured calibration data. The associated PDF view presents this data in a readable form.

In Memida, you can add an inspection report manually, import an existing calibration certificate, or create a calibration certificate from recorded measured values. The steps are described in the Inspection reports chapter. Completed DCC inspection reports cannot be edited or deleted afterwards. Check the details before creating them.
