Seal with Memida

Memida Signing receives your calibration certificate from the web application, seals it locally and sends it back. Memida verifies the seal and confirms completion.

You need internet access, the app for the same Memida environment and the company certificate configured there. The private key and certificate password stay on your computer.

Prepare the calibration certificate in the web application

Enter the calibration data and measurements in Memida and review the preview. The Create calibration certificates guide takes you through the preparation.

Alternatively, you can download the XML file, seal it locally and upload it again. Seal and complete calibration certificates explains this workflow and the status display.

Start a sealing request from Memida

  1. On the calibration certificate, select Seal and complete (1).
  2. If prompted, confirm the browser's request to open Memida Signing.
  3. Unlock the app and wait for the calibration certificate to load.

You can close the completion window and reopen it with Show sealing. The request continues to run.

The app switches to With Memida. For a direct handover, Memida confirms your sign-in. If the app requests browser approval, sign in using the browser window that opens and confirm the security code. The process then continues.

Confirm the document and recipient

Review the calibration certificate, company, company certificate and transfer destination. The app selects the certificate using the fingerprint configured in Memida.

Confirm Seal and transfer to Memida in the security dialog. This approves both steps for the displayed document.

If two separate approvals are requested, approve the seal first, then Transfer sealed calibration certificate.

After successful transfer and verification by Memida, the completion confirmation appears (2).

Check completion

Fig. 2: Completion confirmation for the calibration certificate

Your calibration certificate is ready (1) confirms completion by Memida. Select Open in Memida (2) to open the process.

If you see Check the status in Memida or the connection is interrupted, completion is uncertain. Check the process in Memida before trying again.

Resolve a missing certificate or blocked process

For Matching company certificate missing, import the valid certificate configured in Memida under Certificates, then restart the request. Selecting a different local certificate does not replace it.

After a certificate replacement, configure the successor certificate in Memida as well, if needed.

If the time window has expired, check the status and restart only processes that are still open. See Updates and help for required updates and compatible app packages.
